In addition to peer-reviewed research papers, research notes, and critical reviews on water quality research, Water Environment Research (WER) publishes an annual literature review. The 2017 WER Literature Review provides a review of published books and articles on water quality topics from the previous year.
“At over a thousand pages, the 2017 Literature Review is an important resource for water professionals who want to stay current in the field,” Tim Ellis, editor-in-chief of WER, said. “All 40 diverse sections are open access and full of the year’s research. Some of the topics covered include biosolids and sludge management, water reclamation and reuse, sustainability, textiles and economics.”
