Not-for-profit technical and educational organisation Water Environment Federation (WEF) has recognised the 2023 WEF awards recipients who have contributed to the water environment profession and the federation with their service, educational excellence, and initiatives. They will be honoured at the WEF awards and presidential celebration ceremony on 3 Oct 2023 during WEFTEC 2023 in Chicago, Illinois, US.
The WEF awards programme features more than 30 categories, each highlighting the efforts of water professionals across various fields. These awards are divided into six main categories: (1) WEF fellows, (2) Education awards, (3) Individual service and contribution awards, (4) Operational and design excellence awards, (5) Organisation and association recognition awards and (6) Published papers.
“Each year, the WEF awards programme celebrates the achievements of individuals and organisations within the water sector,” said Carol Martinson, WEF chair of the awards and recognitions community. “These awards showcase the industry’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and education, as we pursue life free of water challenges.”
