Innovyze has announced that the Water Authority of Western Nassau County, New York, has chosen the company’s industry-leading CAD-based H2ONET to support its water distribution network modeling and management needs. Established in 1990, the Water Authority of Western Nassau County has more than 28,000 customers, serving a population of approximately 120,000 in the towns of Hempstead and North Hempstead on Long Island, New York. The Water Authority provides the essential services of extraction, treatment, distribution and sale of water for residential, commercial, industrial and public and private fire water protection purposes. The source of the water supply is underground water aquifers.
