Against a dynamic backdrop of heightened environmental pressures, infrastructure safety and security concerns and rising global demand for clean water, the United States of America is looking to strengthen business relationships and open up new opportunities for growth at IFAT 2016, May 30-June 3 at Munich’s Messe München Exhibition Center.
A core group of U.S. exhibitors at IFAT 2016, featuring such industry leaders as Ford Meter Box (Block #A5. 121/220), Mueller Company (Block #A5. 223/322) and Wachs Utility Products (Block #A5. 223/322), is being organized by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) the International Trade Administration (ITA) and Kallman Worldwide, Inc. The centerpiece of this national effort, the AWWA/U.S. Global Pavilion, is a primary destination for buyers looking for an efficient way to meet U.S. companies, and an on-site business hub for U.S. exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and impact at the event.
“As a co-presenter of the AWWA/U.S. Global Pavilion in partnership with the International Trade Administration, we are proud to help our members capitalize on this influential business event to grow their share of the global marketplace, and further extend their water leadership,” said AWWA CEO David B. LaFrance.
Kallman Worldwide, the AWWA/U.S. Global Pavilion’s designated coordinator, traces its origins at IFAT back to 1966 when company founder, Jerry Kallman, Sr., led the first group of American manufacturers to the inaugural event. He is returning this year as an honored guest. Kallman will take part in the GreenTec Award Gala, when the major European prize for environmental technology will be presented. He will also participate in the official opening of IFAT 2016 on May 30th, and that evening join other industry and government leaders at a state reception in the Munich Residence, the former seat of power for the Bavarian monarchy.
“When the United States commits to exhibit at IFAT 2016, we’re saying we believe in the power of this event to attract real business prospects and customers,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO, Tom Kallman. “The steady growth and diversification of this show — since my father first opened the doors for U.S. industry here 50 years ago — speaks for itself. IFAT sets the standard.”
