Visitor pre-registration is now open for the Taiwan International Water Week (TIWW) 2023, organised by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). This esteemed trade show will take place from 20 – 22 September at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1. TIWW 2023 will focus on wastewater treatment and smart water technology, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and applications in the water resources industry. Pre-registration is available on TIWW’s website for free access.
Water scarcity presents challenges, but also opportunities. President Tsai of Taiwan recently highlighted the severity of issues related to extreme weather events and emphasised the need to accelerate water infrastructure development. In response, the Taiwanese government has allocated over NT$180 billion through initiatives like the Forward-looking Infrastructure Development Program to ensure a stable water supply. Additionally, this year, the Executive Yuan of Taiwan has approved a special budget to enhance water infrastructure projects nationwide, including wastewater treatment plants, desalination plants, and reservoir pipeline connections, to strengthen water resource resilience.
TIWW 2023 will cover comprehensive solutions in the industry, featuring six exhibit areas: “Reclaimed Water & Treatment,” “Transport & Storage,” “Smart Water Technology,” “Water Purification Equipment & Drinking Water,” “Process Control Technology & Automation,” and “Water Environment & Other Services,” providing ample business opportunities for industry stakeholders.

Esteemed exhibitors, including government agencies, industry leaders, and research institutes from Taiwan, such as the Water Resources Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Sun Mines Electrics, Kan-I International, Pro Uni-d, and Fluid Power, as well as international enterprises from six countries, such as Fluence from the US, Veolia from France, AVK Valves from Denmark, and Johnson Screens from Australia, will showcase their leading international technologies and solutions during the show.
Highlighted exhibits at TIWW 2023 include ITRI’s “Smart Control of Water Treatment,” integrating AIoT, automation, and water treatment expertise to develop intelligent solution packages for diverse water treatment units; JNC Technology’s “IoT Water Quality Monitoring Sensor,” leveraging AI sensors, IoT controllers, and green energy to offer real-time data access and sensor operation conditions through a cloud platform; and L & F TECHNOLOGY’s “Cooling Tower Smart Management Solution,” utilising patented algorithms to precisely monitor cooling tower performance and deliver accurate measurement data around the clock.

In addition to the exhibitions, TIWW 2023 will feature various events, including international forums, market briefings, water resource seminars, new product launches, and procurement meetings. These events aim to provide visitors with valuable insights into the latest technologies and market trends, as well as a networking platform to foster business partnerships and opportunities.
