The “Water Company of the Year” award was given to SUEZ on April 9th at the Global Water Summit in London (UK). The “Water Company of the Year” award is an award that is given to the water company that made the most significant contribution to the development of the international water sector in 2018.
The Group also received two distinctions in the “Desalination plant of the Year” and the “Industrial project of the Year” categories. The two projects rewarded were Barka 4 IWP, the largest reverse osmosis desalination plant yet built in the Sultanate of Oman, and the Mobile water demineralization system in Malaysia that has supported operation during facility construction (Pengerang Integrated Complex).
