Royal Haskoning has appointed two new global directors: Sabine Bink will start as global director, industry & buildings, per 1 Dec 2022 and Jon Robinson will start as global director, water and maritime, per 5 Jan 2023.
CEO Erik Oostwegel about the appointments: “I’m very excited to welcome Sabine and Jon to the executive council of our company. They will rejuvenate and diversify our leadership team, enabling the innovation and cooperation we need to deliver on our strategy.

“Sabine is an energising, visionary and commercially savvy director who oversees the world we operate in and has a clear drive for sustainability. She will be an asset as global director industry & buildings for her qualities and the younger perspective she will bring to both the business line and the wider organisation.
“Jon’s extensive leadership experience in water and his strategic understanding of maritime, coupled with his ambition to deliver on our purpose of enhancing society together, make him excellently positioned to lead the business line water & maritime. He will bring experience in new service and innovation development, as well as fresh insights and dynamics.”

Bink made the following comment on her appointment: “I look forward to this more strategic and global role and bringing in new perspectives as a young leader. By taking into account environmental, social, economic and political developments, we have the opportunity to increase our impact for clients and society and accelerate the growth of our company.”
Robinson, meanwhile, said this about his appointment: “The capability, strategic focus and drive of Royal Haskoning’s people are deeply impressive. The water & maritime sectors directly face some of the greatest challenges of our times but also offer huge opportunity for sustainable growth and outcomes that deliver enhanced value for our clients, society and environment.”
Bink was Royal Haskoning’s director project management & consultancy multinationals, and had been successfully leading a strong team working on projects globally. She also played an important role in the acquisition and integration of Districon earlier this year.
