Roberts of Port Dinorwic picked Landia’s wastewater aeration system

Acclaimed and renowned family-owned food manufacturer, Roberts of Port Dinorwic, introduced a new Landia aeration system to improve its wastewater process.

Based out of a ten-acre (four-hectare) site on the banks of the Menai Strait, North Wales, United Kingdom (U.K.), the food production facility has a screen that catches up to 95 per cent of the wastewater solids, but needed a non-blocking aerator that would further reproduce particle sizes and keep solids suspended by means of an effective, efficient, and economic mix.

“Landia came highly recommended. In fact, more than half of the tank manufacturers we consulted said that if we wanted the most reliable and long-lasting aerator, it should be Landia. Dylan Roberts, Chief Engineer, commented. “Everything’s brilliant. The Landia AirJet runs for six to seven hours per day and we’ve had no problems whatsoever. We sometimes have high levels of fat as part of close to a tonne of solids per week, but it’s no problem for the awrator. Landia have also done much more than just supply their equipment. They’ve worked very closely with us and the tank manufactgurer to ensure that everything is right.”
