Riventa, with its pumps and blowers, has clinched new contracts in Brazil through its partner in São Paulo, Toraqua Technologies.

Five public and private water companies are said to benefit from Riventa software as a service (SAS model), where customers no longer have to concern with the maintenance of hardware.
Toraqua Technologies general manager André Gomes said, “The market is surprised about how quickly they get information about their pumps and blowers [performance]. In addition to real-time data, management reports show where to make energy savings. The sensors by Riventa are also more accurate than what has been used previously.”

Testing and monitoring as a service has been key to the group’s growth. With SAS available, water companies in Brazil can plan maintenance better from the data that is gathered on measured flow, efficiency, head and power.
Gomes added, “SAS provides insights that enable water companies to make quicker yet better decisions with recommendations on-hand as we view the readings from the software to analyse the data as it happens.”
