Probe Industries launches combined dust suppression and atomiser system

Probe Industries has launched the ProDual Dust Cannon, a two-in-one mobile system combining a high-pressure cannon mode for long-range dust suppression with a fine-droplet atomiser mode for dust and odour control.

The system is designed for manufacturing and processing sites, including landfills, recycling and waste management facilities, transfer stations, biomass facilities, soil remediation projects, chemical plants and large construction and demolition sites. Operators can adjust water pressure and consumption on site according to requirements, while an integrated pump adjusts water flow when switching between modes.

“Effective dust and odour management are central to a waste and industrial site’s operational efficiencies, regulatory compliance, community relations and, ultimately, licence to operate,” said Victoria Taylor, chief executive officer, Probe Industries. “Previously, operators have been forced to implement and manage separate systems, suppliers and operating procedures for dust and odour control, often at high water and labour cost. Our ProDual Dust Cannon offers an alternative long-range versatile platform that addresses both long-range and shorter-range dust and odour management in a single system.”

In cannon mode, the system produces a focused mist with a range of 40–50m and 360-degree rotation for long-range dust suppression. In atomiser mode, a purpose-built fan extends the system’s reach to cover larger odour zones while using less water.

According to Probe Industries, the rotary atomiser is designed to optimise droplet size for odour neutralisation and can use up to two-thirds less water than typical nozzle-based systems.

The mobile unit can be moved between treatment areas as work progresses and requires a single water supply.

The ProDual Dust Cannon is available for order and demonstration from Probe Industries.
