NX Filtration receives orders from Thermax for various NF and UF water projects in India

Global group in advanced hollow fibre membrane technology NX Filtration has added Thermax — an Indian multinational engineering company involved in clean air, clean energy and clean water — to its customer base. Thermax has placed a sizeable initial order for both hollow fibre nanofiltration (HFNF) and ultrafiltration (UF) modules from NX Filtration.

After extensive successful piloting with NX Filtration’s HFNF technology, Thermax will now be scaling up to full-scale water projects. Thermax initial order involves HFNF modules with an aggregate total capacity of approximately 5 million L/day, and UF modules with a total capacity of approximately 25 million L/day, and will be used for various of its existing and new water treatment installations across India.

NX Filtration regional sales director Arun Nair said, “We are glad to have converted a pilot into a first full-scale HFNF project for Thermax, and also to supply Thermax with our high-quality UF modules. We are looking forward to further develop our relationship and apply our technology across more projects and applications with Thermax in the future.”

With over 40 years of history, Thermax is amongst the Indian companies focusing on water and wastewater treatment, with more than 20,000 water and wastewater treatment installations across various municipal, industrial and commercial applications.
