In a stride towards minimising the water footprint of its clients, Nijhuis Saur Industries (NSI) has partnered with NX Filtration, the global supplier of hollow fibre nanofiltration membranes. With this collaboration, the market can benefit from NX Filtration nanofiltration technology that removes contaminations from water. NX Filtration CCO Alejandro Roman added, “Through NSI mobile systems, they can benefit from the features of hollow fiber nanofiltration, removing micropollutants from water whilst offering sustainability benefits.”
At Aquatech Amsterdam — a trade exhibition for process, drinking, and wastewater — NSI and NX Filtration jointly announced their partnership and unveiled a mobile hollow fibre nanofiltration unit, named the MONF. The MONF is reportedly designed as a modular and plug-and-play system that can treat waters up to 100m3/hr and can easily be transported. The modular NSI system is said to use NX Filtration nanofiltration membranes, to remove contaminations from water, reducing energy and chemical usage. NSI CCO Eugen Goudsmith said, “The MONF will be included in the NSI mobile water solutions services that play a role in guaranteeing cost-effective and secure water treatment across various sectors.”
