The 46-year-old said, “Intelligent energy solutions and utilising our resources properly are close to my heart, and the potential worldwide is huge for Kamstrup. It motivates me a lot, and I am proud and humbled to be given the task.”

Michael Løve, chairman of the board and CEO of OK — the owner of Kamstrup, added, “This is a good starting point for the next strategy period for which we have high growth ambitions. Kvorning is the right person to realise these ambitions, and I am looking forward to the collaboration.”

As part of the leadership team at Danfoss Drives, a global electronics manufacturer within the Danfoss group, Kvorning helped identify opportunities to create a sounder supply chain during the global component and microchip shortage. One of his focus points is to create a more resilient supply chain in Kamstrup. He has lived with his family in Singapore for more than five years, where he had the overall responsibility as president of Danfoss’ activities in the APAC region.

“It is crucial that we continue to differentiate ourselves with the right technology and product development. We need to do this together. Kamstrup consists of more than 1,700 experts, and I look forward to meeting them all,” said the CEO-to-be.
