Microdyn-Nadir, a Mann+Hummel company, has announced a new name for their business segment – Mann+Hummel Water & Fluid Solutions. Since 2015, the membrane manufacturer is part of Mann+Hummel’s Life Sciences & Environment (LS&E) business unit, and produces products and solutions for water, wastewater, and process membranes.
Along with a new name, the revamped Water & Fluid Solutions segment announced a new vision: To address the world’s water and fluid treatment challenges so as to create a safe, sustainable, and healthy planet.

Supporting this new vision on the path to growth and innovation is Jeff Sanchez, who has been named as the new vice-president for the Water & Fluid Solutions group. He will replace Marco Nava, who has been in this role since April last year.
Fua Nipah, president and general manager LS&E at Mann+Hummel, said: “We are pleased to welcome Jeff Sanchez to the team with his years of experience in the global water market. His significant achievements delivering consistently profitable growth and building high-performing international teams will bring tremendous value to our organisation.”
Prior to joining Mann+Hummel, Sanchez was general manager, treatment, EMEIA at Xylem.
He added: “Throughout name changes, rebranding and acquisitions, the core of our company – our relationships with partners, clients, and customers – remains the same. We believe our new vision and closer ties to Mann+Hummel will allow us to enhance that focus.”
