MICRODYN-NADIR has launched a new brand for their hollow fiber PVDF ultrafiltration (UF) product line: MICRODYN PureULTRA. The modules are used to treat surface water, ground water, sea water, and tertiary treated wastewater.
Previously under the brand OLTREcap, the newly branded MICRODYN PureULTRA hollow fiber UF product remains focused on water treatment and pretreatment to reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) as primary applications.
Highly hydrophilic modified PVDF hollow fiber offers high tensile strength and chemical tolerance, resulting in increased overall membrane life even after exposure to aggressive cleaning regimes. MICRODYN PureULTRA UF modules can be operated at low pressures and optimum flux, leading to lower operating costs for customers.
The modules are available in three configurations for customers, with varying membrane area per model. Read more about the options on the company’s website.
In addition to MICRODYN PureULTRA, a standard, hollow fiber module, the company offers specialized UF products for niche applications, including MICRODYN AQUADYN® UF (ideal for oily water applications) and MICRODYN iSep™ 500 (most suited for difficult-to-treat wastewaters).
