Marco Scifoni has been appointed as the new ceo of Zenit Group, succeeding Lorenzo Bottan at the helm of the Modena-based company.
Zenit Group, a long-standing manufacturer of submersible electric pumps, lifting stations and solutions for aeration and wastewater mixing, has chosen Scifoni to lead its next phase of development.
A mechanical engineer by training, Scifoni built his career in Japan, where he held senior roles in the metalworking and automotive sectors. He first served as manager of the technical department and later as general manager, gaining experience in leading diverse teams and aligning them towards shared objectives.
Reflecting on his new role, Scifoni said he intends to build on the company’s achievements while strengthening communication and setting out a long-term strategy in collaboration with Zenit’s parent company, Tsurumi Manufacturing Co. Ltd.
