MANN+HUMMEL appoints new chief executive officer

The Board of Directors of MANN+HUMMEL have announced the appointment of Werner Lieberherr as new Chief Executive Officer. He will begin his new role effective immediately.

Since 2010, Lieberherr was president & chief executive officer of the publicly traded company B/E Aerospace, Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAV). Following the acquisition of B/E Aerospace by Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) in April 2017, he accompanied the successful integration of the Group as executive vice president & chief operating officer and the ongoing acquisition of Rockwell Collins by United Technologies (NYSE: UTX).

Previously, Werner Lieberherr spent 16 years in various management positions in the energy industry at ABB and Alstom Power, Inc. Lieberherr holds a degree in Technical Management and Operations Research from ETH Zurich and a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago. During his career in Europe, Asia and the United States, he was instrumental in the success of international technology companies.

MICRODYN-NADIR’s headquarters and main production facility for their membranes and modules (flat membrane, Membrane Bioreactors (MBR), spiral wound modules, tubular modules, capillary modules) are located in Wiesbaden, Germany with additional production facilities in Singapore (hollow fiber modules) and Xiamen/China (spiral wound modules and tubular modules). Being the new headquarter of MANN+HUMMEL´s Water Division since the 100 per cent acquisition of MICRODYN-NADIR through MANN+HUMMEL in February 2015, MICRODYN-NADIR is also present with sales offices in Goleta/USA as well as in Jundiaí/Brazil. MICRODYN-NADIR has 220 employees worldwide of which approximately 100 are based at the headquarter and main production location in Wiesbaden.
