LIXIL Group Corporation, maker of pioneering water and housing products, has announced its decision to appoint Adele Tao as the CEO of LIXIL Water Technology for Greater China, effective immediately. With this move, LIXIL will consolidate all of its Water Technology businesses in China under one organisation to fully leverage its multi-brand, multi-category strength, providing a stronger offering and greater convenience to customers and partners.
In her previous role at LIXIL, as Managing Director of GROHE China & HK, INAX China and LIXIL Kitchen China; Adele has been a proven leader and an invaluable member of the Asia leadership team. She has led the GROHE business in China, delivering consistently stellar growth rates and building a deep pipeline of products for the market. The Asia IKAM (International Key Accounts Management) team’s capabilities were also enhanced under Adele’s leadership, enabling the team to deliver strong results.

While LIXIL will continue to manage its businesses by brand, Adele will accelerate synergies, innovation and drive a more focused approach to enhance long term performance. Adele will continue to lead GROHE China concurrently, and her leadership team will constitute leaders of American Standard, INAX, LIXIL Kitchens, Prefabricated Bathrooms and China Full Home Business Initiative Michael Kang, General Manager of American Standard China, will concurrently take on the strategic expanded role of Vice President, Projects Business for the Asia Pacific region, reporting to YC Chen for this new responsibility.
