Startups funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) will showcase game-changing technologies in the Innovation Pavilion. From using sound waves (FloDesign Sonics) or special bacteria (Cambrian Innovation) for water filtration to portable, low-power, lightweight devices that destroy biological and chemical contaminants (SurfPlasma), the NSF-Funded companies have some of the most cutting-edge ideas in water-related technologies.
Speak to them directly at the NSF’s Innovation Pavilion – booth #5725 – or hear more about their technologies at an event on Monday, September 26 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in 237 – “Innovations from NSF SBIR Companies.”
“The National Science Foundation invests in small businesses with potentially transformative technologies to help them make it to the marketplace,” said Prakash Balan, Program Director for the NSF’s Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR). “WEFTEC is an opportunity for these businesses to showcase their innovative work and the potential benefits that their technologies can have for the environment and society.”
