IndoWater 2024 expo and forum facilitates B2B, government to government (G2G), and business-to-government interactions. It will feature a programme of exhibitions, forums, technical product presentations, and a business matchmaking programme.

According to data from the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, the average water loss level in Indonesia in 2022 is projected to reach 40%. This phenomenon contradicts and deviates from the provisions set forth by the ministry, which stipulated a maximum allowable clean water leakage of 20% for drinking water companies.

According to managing director of Napindo Media Ashatama, the organiser of IndoWater 2024, participation in the expo will address the challenge of non-revenue water (NRW) in Indonesia, as well as to invest in infrastructure, enhance operational management and employ advanced leak detection technologies. He added that this event will foster public awareness and implement supportive policies to mitigate water loss and improving water management efficiency.
