Indo Waste & Recycling 2027 Expo & Forum builds global industry connections to support Indonesia’s waste management growth

Following the success of its 16th exhibition, held from 11–13 Aug, Indo Waste & Recycling Expo & Forum continues to strengthen its position as a strategic platform for industry engagement and business opportunities. As Indonesia’s leading international event for waste and recycling technologies and solutions, the exhibition brings together government representatives, industry stakeholders and technology providers to support the development of sustainable waste management solutions.

The development forms part of a broader shift towards integrated waste management and resource recovery in Indonesia, creating opportunities across the environmental technology value chain. These include waste collection and sorting, recycling, thermal treatment, WtE, air pollution control, Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF), waste monitoring, environmental engineering and energy generation. The growing demand for technologies and expertise also highlights the importance of international collaboration in developing Indonesia’s waste management infrastructure.

To strengthen global industry connections, the Indo Waste & Recycling team will participate in RETECH Korea, an international trade fair for waste management, recycling and environmental technologies, from 2–4 Sep 2026. The participation forms part of the event’s efforts to promote Indo Waste & Recycling 2027 and expand its international network ahead of the next edition.

The initiative builds on the strong performance of the 2026 edition, which welcomed more than 700 exhibitors from 23 countries. The event occupied 20,000 sq m of exhibition space and attracted 17,925 visitors over three days, reflecting strong participation from international industry players.

Indo Waste & Recycling 2027 will be held from 24–26 Aug 2027 at Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) PIK 2, Tangerang, Indonesia. The event will be co-located with Indo Water, Indo Renergy & Electric, Indo Security, Indo Firex Rescue & Disaster, and Indonesia International Smart City Expo & Forum.
