IFAT Munich kicked off on 13 May 2024, focusing on water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management.

Idrica business development director Jorge Helmbrecht said, “The Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua platform has attracted interest among those attending the event. Its versatility, its analytical capacity, and the possibility of connecting multiple assets regardless of their manufacturer, were some of the most valued aspects.”

The platform, launched over a year ago, is gaining relevance in response to the increasing need for digital transformation of the water sector. A highlight at the Xylem booth was the talk held by Joost Aloserij, business development director at Xylem, and Jaume Alba, client solutions architect at Idrica. During the speech, they described the project carried out at Yorkshire Water.

During the talk, the implementation of digital solutions was highlighted as the only way to decarbonisation and sustainability in the water sector. For Alba, “it is crucial to harness the power of data analytics and smart technologies,” pointing to the role of the Xylem Vue platform powered by GoAigua in reducing the carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices.

IFAT Munich closed its doors on 17 May 2024 with the next IFAT being in India. Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua will be also participating at upcoming fairs such as AEAS Castellón, in June, and IWA Bilbao, in November.
