In Dantali, Gujarat, a North Indian state, a new Grundfos plant has opened its doors.
From the new plant, the company will be producing and shipping boosters as well as boxed products
to customers and partners in the northern regions of the sprawling country, and will also supply the global organisation with stainless steel components.
“This is also a significant strategic move in the important Indian market,” Stéphane Simonetta, Group Executive Vice President and COO, said. “We strengthen our presence and closeness to customers in this region, and we establish ourselves in the vibrant and green frontrunner state, Gujarat.”
Ranganath N. Krishna, Managing Director of Grundfos India agreed with him, adding that the move would be of great importance when it comes to shortening lead times to customers in the Northern and Western regions of India.
