Four water sampling lines available with bNovate’s new BactoSwitch

bNovate has introduced BactoSwitch, a module that enables up to four water sampling lines to be connected to its BactoSense analyser, creating a more efficient multi-source monitoring setup.

Luigino Grasso, bNovate’s chief technology officer, said that the development reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen the analyser’s capabilities. He noted: “This launch shows how we can continuously improve the performance of our BactoSense analysers so that, in the digital age, we provide robust, automated solutions for water monitoring and analysis.”

BactoSwitch allows as many as four inlet streams to be linked to a single BactoSense instrument. Its integrated flow regulation manages pressures from zero point one to five bar with precision. As the process requires no manual intervention, operating costs can be reduced by about thirty-five per cent.

The combined system expands coverage across water treatment plants by providing more detailed stage-by-stage insights. It also monitors microbial quality in springs and catchments, and validates pre- and post-treatment performance using log-reduction values.

Installation takes less than one hour, as push-in fittings remove the need for complex plumbing.
