Faithful+Gould announces new leadership in SEA

Recently, René Hillig was appointed Director – South East Asia to advance the Faithful+Gould business and as well as implement key account management strategies across the Southeast Asian (SEA) region.

Hillig, a long serving senior member of Faithful+Gould Singapore, is well regarded in the industry for his leadership, key account management and excellence in project delivery.

A resident of Singapore for 25 years, Hillig has led multiple large-scale programs and commissions in SEA and the wider Asia Pacific (APAC) region for Faithful+Gould’s international clients such as Allianz, BlackRock, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Equinix, General Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, Telstra and many others.

His previous experience includes major projects across the property and infrastructure sectors including the MRT North East Line in Singapore, London Underground in the UK, onshore projects for Westport in Port Klang, Malaysia, the Petronas/KLCC vehicular tunnel in Kualaf Lumpur, Malaysia as well as the program management of several masterplans such as the 390-hectare Al Ain Oasis Masterplan.

“It is a privilege to take on the leadership of Faithful+Gould in South East Asia and I am committed to driving the continued growth of Faithful+Gould as the leading integrated project and program management consultancy in the region,” Hillig said, commenting on his new role. “Working with SNC-Lavalin and Atkins, I look forward to the additional value that our new combined organisation can deliver for our clients.”

“We are pleased to announce René’s leadership of South East Asia. René’s appointment comes at an exciting time,” Callum Bothwell, Faithful+Gould’s Managing Director for APAC, said. “With the integration of SNC-Lavalin, Atkins and Faithful+Gould, our larger company now provides our clients with a greater range of professional services across a broader geographic base.”

Departing Director – South East Asia, Rick Hancock, will be leaving the Faithful+Gould business and relocating to the Middle East in Q1 2018.

“I would like to thank Rick for his years of commitment and contribution to Faithful+Gould,” Bothwell continued. “He has been a key member of the company and played a pivotal role in supporting the transition and integration of the former Confluence business into Faithful+Gould.”

In Hillig’s new role, the SEA business units of Project Management, Industry, Strategic Asset Management and Commercial Management will report to him, and he will continue to act as the Corporate Real Estate Sector leader for Asia Pacific.
