NX Filtration has expanded its sales team with Usama Patel, who will be tasked to support the company in further rolling out its innovative and sustainable direct nanofiltration technology for municipal and industrial applications in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Patel brings along his extensive experience in the water and wastewater treatment sector in the MENA region, through his previous roles as sales director Middle East and Africa for Marmon Water, regional sales manager for Hydranautics, business development manager Middle East and Africa for Mann+Hummel, and regional sales manager Middle East and Africa for Pentair.
Last month, NX Filtration has also extended its executive team with the appointment of Marc Luttikhuis as its CFO. He will join the company at the beginning of 2022 at NX Filtration’s headquarters in Enschede, the Netherlands.
Luttikhuis previously held CFO positions at Brink Group and Heuver, with responsibility for finance, IT, HR and procurement functions. He has a broad financial background with a track record of performance improvements and will play a key role in achieving NX Filtration’s ambitions.
Commenting on Luttikhuis’ appointment, Michiel Staatsen, CEO of NX Filtration, said: “He brings extensive international experience as a CFO in entrepreneurial and fast-growing settings. This experience will be of great support in the further expansion of our company, that includes further globalising our commercial team, expanding the production capacity for our breakthrough direct nanofiltration membranes that address water challenges around the world and progressing on our ESG agenda.”
