Earlier this month, DAVCO wrapped up the production of an EXTERNALIFT™ SCREW PUMP. Installed at a 38 degree angle, the screw pump is an open flight and efficiently moves slurries and water up from a lower elevation to a higher elevation.
The design of the pump requires a carbon steel Torque Tube along with 304L Stainless Steel Flights. Moved by forklift, the short shaft and end plate will be refined to the particular tolerance needed and the flights – with consideration to the Torque Tube – will be trimmed to the correct radius.
After works have been completed, the pump is slated for transportation to the project job site in North Carolina via commercial carrier.
