WATER KOREA is an exhibition specializing in the water industry that represents Korea .
It was first started in 2002 and has been held every year until now.Various related events such as seminars and conferences are held at the same time as well as water and sewage related equipment exhibitions.
It is held every March in KINTEX (Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do) and other provinces, and has established itself as a venue for the Korean water industry festival in which domestic and foreign water industry-related workers participate.
WATER KOREA started as an exhibition event in Daegu Metropolitan City in 2002. It was a time when there was no concept of the water industry, and it started as a specialised exhibition for water and sewage equipment (B2G) rather than a general exhibition (B2C).
WATER KOREA started as a cooperative relationship co-hosted with local governments, which are member organisations of the association, and was co-hosted with Daegu Metropolitan City in the first year. With each passing year, conferences, seminars, various contests, citizen participation programs, and member exchange programs have been developed, and it has established itself as a representative expo in the water industry in Korea.
WATER KOREA has been touring special cities and metropolitan cities, and now it tours KINTEX and the provinces once every other year.
In the past, it was held every November until 2011, but in consideration of the characteristics of the water industry, it has been moved to March from 2012 and is being promoted in connection with the World Water Day government commemoration ceremony (every March 22).
