ERG (Air Pollution Control) has established a joint venture with Neev Fluidex to deliver odour control and air pollution systems in India and across Asia.

The new company, ERG Neev, will combine ERG’s experience in the design and supply of odour, volatile organic compound and gas scrubbing systems with Neev’s local engineering, project delivery and service support capabilities.

ERG Neev will provide systems for municipal wastewater treatment, chemical processing, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, metals and energy applications. The scope includes bio-trickling filters, carbon filtration, packed tower scrubbers and high-performance wet scrubbers.

Prior to forming the joint venture, the two companies collaborated on several odour control projects in the Mumbai area, including the Bandra wastewater treatment facility. According to the companies, these projects demonstrated the integration of ERG’s technologies with Neev’s local engineering and service support.

James Scott-Bowden, chairman and business development director at ERG, said the formation of ERG Neev would allow the company to support customers through local supply, installation and service. He added that local presence is important for long-term reliability and regulatory compliance.

Krina Dossani, director at Neev Fluidex, said tightening air quality standards require both established technologies and local support capability. She stated that the partnership with ERG strengthens the solutions offered to clients in the region.

Separately, ERG recently entered into an agreement with Yurcent Environmental Technology to act as exclusive agent and partner for its regenerative thermal oxidiser systems in the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Middle East.
