Logistics hub uses modern methods for smooth goods transport
To supply plants and laboratories with measurement and automation technology, Endress+Hauser strengthened its global supply chain capabilities with the opening of a new logistics centre in Suzhou, China, in March 2021.

The 5,000sqm high-bay warehouse will supply domestic customers in China as well as materials to overseas production and sales centres in future. Among other features, a warehouse management system that continually monitors the inventory and provides notifications ensures efficient order and delivery process. Workflows and services, such as tracking and tracing, as well as continuous performance monitoring provide a smooth delivery process.
Oliver Blum, corporate director supply chain of the Endress+Hauser Group, commented: “In light of the continued growing significance of the Chinese market for the Endress+Hauser Group, the opening of the new China logistics hub is an important factor in strengthening our global supply chain network.”
The facility, operated by the SF Group, includes an open and closed customs warehouse area, as well as warehouse space within the free trade zone of the Suzhou Industrial Park.
