DuPont Water Solutions has been shortlisted for Water Technology Company of the Year at the accompanying Global Water Awards.
A delegation from DuPont Water Solutions is preparing to attend the Global Water Summit 2023, when the flagship gathering of key decision-makers from the water industry convenes in Berlin, Germany from 8-10 May 2023. The theme of this year’s event is ‘creating a climate for growth’, with debate focused on how to expand access to water while reducing the environmental footprint of the water industry and ensuring that water remains a key area for investment.
Blanca Salgado, DuPont Water Solutions global technology and innovation lead, will be speaking during the 12 Technologies for Industrial Water Reuse session on 10 May, discussing how closed circuit reverse osmosis (CCRO) offers greater adaptability, efficiency, and reliability compared to conventional reverse osmosis (RO) processes. She will showcase how CCRO technology is being used to facilitate water reuse at industrial locations across the globe, and how it can provide a high recovery rate, even when feedwater has varying salinity.

Alongside the summit, the winners of the coveted Global Water Awards will be announced at a gala dinner on 9 May. DuPont Water Solutions has been shortlisted for Water Technology Company of the Year, and several projects utilising DuPont technologies have been shortlisted for other awards. They are the Water Project of the Year — Jiaxing Drinking Water Upgrade Project in China for DuPont FilmTec nanofiltration, Desalination Plant of the Year — Bahri Desalination Barge in Saudi Arabia for DuPont IntegraTec ultrafiltration, Water Reuse Project of the Year — Mandai Wildlife Park in Singapore for MEMCOR MBR and Parañaque New Water plant in the Philippines for DuPont IntegraTec ultrafiltration.

“Every year, delegates at the Global Water Summit work together to find the answers to some of the burning questions facing the water industry,” said Harith Al Omar, its global desalination marketing manager.
“We are proud to be long-time supporters of the Global Water Summit, an event that brings water industry leaders from around the world together with a common goal — increasing access to clean, safe water,” said Verónica García Molina, global marketing manager, Industrial Water and Energy. “In our vision for a water-optimised World, we envision a future where all people and industries have access to the water they need.”
