Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Wolfgang Weggen (62), long-standing Executive Vice President of the Diehl Executive Board and in charge of the Finance and Controlling Corporate Department, has gone into well-earned retirement as of August 31 this year. The shareholders and members of the Supervisory Board have thanked Mr. Weggen for his great commitment and impressive loyalty to the company as well as to the Diehl family, and wished him all the best for his retirement.
The successor of Mr. Weggen as CFO and member of the Diehl Executive Board as well as Executive Vice President of the Diehl Executive Board is Dipl.-Kfm. Jürgen Reimer (50). Up to now, Mr. Reimer has been working in the family-owned company Webasto SE, most recently holding the position as CFO within the company’s Executive Board. Webasto SE is a global innovative system partner of almost all car manufacturers and ranks among the 100 largest suppliers of this industrial sector worldwide.
Mr. Reimer has taken up his new duty as of September 1 this year.
