Countries converge at The Hague to share experiences on moving forward with water challenges

UN-Water, along with the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands, organised an international workshop that took place from the 22nd to the 24th of November, 2017 to discuss integrated monitoring of Sustainable Development Goal 6 regarding water and sanitation.

The workshop took place at The Hague, the Netherlands, with some 120 participants hailing from an estimated 75 nations in attendance, along with around 30 representatives from various United Nations (UN) organisations and another 30 representatives from international as well as regional organisations that work with water and sanitation.

The workshop was intended to provide a platform for countries and UN entities to share their experiences as well as review results from the 2016-2017 baseline data collection efforts in order to learn and prepare for future monitoring.
