Closing of the acquisition of NSU by Saur group

Water specialist company Saur group has closed, through Nijhuis Saur Industries (NSI), the industrial water arm of Saur, of the acquisition of Natural Systems Utilities (NSU), a provider of turnkey water treatment and reuse solutions in the US. The company will continue to be led by Zach Gallagher, president and COO of NSU and Bill Massa, CEO of NSU.

As cities face an increasing urban population, decentralised water reuse emerges as a stride towards ensuring access to water and sanitation. This acquisition facilitates the evolution of water consumption from a finite resource to a sustainable one.

The combination of NSI and NSU will accelerate the introduction of new technologies and innovative approaches to the commercial and residential buildings markets in the Americas and Europe. This acquisition leverages the strengths of two industry leaders with complementary expertise, fostering new synergies to support the commercial and residential buildings markets.

The completion of the acquisition has been approved by the relevant regulatory authorities and the integration of NSU into industrial water solutions division of Saur group has kicked off.
