China Everbright Water awarded Shandong Ji’nan Huashan Waste Water Treatment Project

Environmental protection company that concentrates on water environment management, China Everbright Water Ltd, recently announced that they had won the bid for Shandong Ji’nan Huashan Waste Water Treatment Project.

Huashan Project will be invested in as operated as Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model, with a total estimated investment of RMB120 million (US$17.8 million). With a concession period of 30 years, the Huashan Project is expected to be completed and operational by 2018.

An underground wastewater treatment project with a daily treatment capacity of 30,000cbm, it will service to the Huashan District in Ji’nan City, and will also adopt the Anaerobic Anoxic Oxic Membrane Bro-Reactor (AAO-MBR) process to treat the waste primarily from the Huashan District. The treated water from the project will comply with the national Grade 1A standard according to the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB18918-2002), with some of the discharge indicators following the Surface Water Quality Standard (BG3838-2002) for Category IV.
