Czech manufacturer BONNEL TECHNOLOGIE presented its novelties in the segment of control units for decentralised treatment plant and smart applications for their monitoring at Leading Trade Fair for Environmental Technologies (IFAT), the biggest world fair of environmental technologies held in Munich.
IFAR sees a record breaking number of over 3,300 exhibitors from 54 countries. Apart from BONNEL TECHNOLOGIE, forty other Czech companies were represented.
Jan Bonn, managing director of BONNEL TECHNOLOGIE expressed that: “IFAT is our most important presentation abroad every two years. The sector of manufacturers of decentralized sewage treatment plants is a ‘small world’ in which customers and producers know each other. Still, it is possible to meet new potential customers and to discuss applications with the existing ones.“
This year, BONNEL TECHNOLOGIE exhibited control units connecting to the Internet of Things (IoT), PC and server-based telemetry with data export options for WWTP monitoring in compliance with valid environmental regulations, smart SMS applications and improved alarm signalization accessories.
At present, IOT and ecological subsidy programmes in individual countries are the main movers in the company’s branch. Europe has been the key player in electronics and related technologies, BONNEL TECHNOLOGIE remains competitive through its own development and production capacities in Cheb, Czech Republic.
Greatest takeaway from IFAT
Water is a source of top priority and nations are more aware of the significance in the usage of waste water in bigger agglomerations and small communities. WWTP monitoring decreases the costs and enhances the plant efficiency.
Control units supplied by the company have to be able and ready to fulfil legal requirements for sewage treatment in particular countries. In order to obtain state subsidies for WWTP, many governments require detailed and long-term monitoring of the sewage treatment plant operation. This is the pathway to healthy and safe environment.
