Berghof Membranes Technology to exhibit at Indo Water 2019

Berghof Membrane Technology GmbH, the leading manufacturer of tubular membranes for the filtration and separation of industrial process streams and wastewater, will exhibit at Indo Water 2019 between July 17th through 19th in Jakarta, Indonesia. This exposition is a great opportunity for Berghof Membranes to showcase its expertise in industrial wastewater and effluent treatment, and share its latest innovations in tubular membrane filtration with the approximately 10,000 visitors expected to attend Indonesia’s water, wastewater and recycling technology event.

Technological advancements in industrial wastewater treatment are critical in combatting global water scarcity, reducing dependence on fresh water sources, and helping industries reduce operational costs. Berghof Membranes boasts almost 50 years of experience in tubular membrane filtration for industrial applications including membrane bioreactors (MBR), anaerobic MBR, zero liquid discharge (ZLD), and brine concentration for reverse osmosis applications.

As the fourth most populated country, Indonesia has six per cent of the world’s water resources but only 75 per cent of citizens have safe access to it. In addition, Indonesia is battling with a critical waste crisis as landfills capacities are strained. The untreated wastewater and increasing amount of solid waste in landfills imposes a significant impact on the environmental safety and health of local communities.

“It is imperative for us to take account of the region’s challenges for safe water and sanitation, and expedite the development of leading-edge solutions for effective wastewater treatment”, says Eric Wildeboer, chief executive officer of Berghof Membrane Technology GmbH. “We develop and deliver innovative membrane filtration solutions which reinforce our commitment to saving the world’s most valuable resource”.

Indo Water 2019 guests can visit the Berghof Membranes booth BE45 at the Exhibition Hall B.
