Infrastructure engineering software company Bentley Systems is participating in COP28 — the UN climate change conference — in Dubai, UAE from 30 Nov-12 Dec 2023. Bentley will join with governments, businesses, and civil society to discuss how innovations like artificial intelligence (AI)-powered infrastructure digital twins can accelerate the digital and sustainable transitions necessary for climate action.
Bentley experts will speak during COP28 and participate in activities in the blue and green zone, as well as the Sustainable Innovation Forum, which spotlights business action, mobilises green finance, and showcases solutions to achieve climate-related UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
According to COP28, the green zone will serve as the central hub for action and will welcome all attendees. The blue zone will be open to accredited party and observer delegates and will host formal negotiations. Bentley team will present in the blue zone on advancing low-carbon, climate resilient pathways with infrastructure intelligence, and as Microsoft’s sustainability partner, Bentley will be in the green zone to share insights on how data and digital twins can accelerate infrastructure intelligence to support climate action.
