The software helps the District leverage its current investment in ArcGIS technology from Esri (Redlands, CA) and Innovyze InfoWater for more effective operational and capital improvement decision-making.
The Yorba Linda Water District is an independent special district that provides water and sewer services to most of Yorba Linda and to portions of Placentia, Anaheim, Brea and unincorporated Orange County. Its service area is bounded by the service areas of the Golden State Water Company, City of Anaheim Water Department, and City of Brea Water Department. The District’s water supply is a blend of groundwater from its own wells and water imported from Northern California and the Colorado River by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD). YLWD was recognized last year as a “District of Distinction” by the Special District Leadership Foundation (SDLF). This recognition is among California’s most prestigious government honors, awarded to districts that display achievements in the areas of governance, transparency, finances, and board conduct.
