Andritz will be exhibiting its broad range of new technologies, services and automation solutions for the water, wastewater and waste management industries at the coming IFAT 2022.
For instance, the Andritz Underdrain system and a submersible centrifugal pump will be showcased at the event. The former is a maintenance-free gravity filter that ensures a smooth filtration process. Water intake screens made from stainless steel with replaceable screens that limit repair and maintenance costs complete the portfolio. The latter supports efficiencies of up to 88% and flow rates up to 2,200m3/h, allowing optimal conveyance of pre-cleaned wastewater.
Furthermore, Andritz will demonstrate its sludge thickening and dewatering solutions—comprising screw presses, decanter centrifuges, filter presses, drum and gravity belt thickeners—that ensure a “reliable and stable” sludge treatment process. New systems supported by artificial intelligence (AI) for automatic polymer dosage in real-time help to reduce operating costs by up to 40%, the company claimed.
Andritz will also present its drying systems that help to minimise disposal costs by producing a broad portfolio of dried sludge products; fluidised bed boilers that use waste as fuel and are suitable for thermal treatment; recycling solutions for a wide variety of different applications like e-waste and waste textiles; advanced automation and digitalisation solutions for new and existing plants to optimise efficiency and maximise profit; and service solutions encompassing spare parts, upgrades and rental machinery through service level agreements (SLAs), process optimization and training programmes to reduce downtime, increase predictability in operations and enhance the overall efficiency of production operations sustainably.
Andritz will be exhibiting at booths 151/250 and 350 during IFAT 2022, which will take place from 30 May-3 Jun 2022 at Messe Munchen in Munich, Germany.
