Analytik Jena applications lab opens in Texas

Endress+Hauser campus offers areas for calibration, repair and training

Analytik Jena, a provider of analytical measuring technology, has announced the opening of its application lab within the Endress+Hauser campus. The lab offers a centralised location the US, and is designed for in-house customer support and demonstrations.

Monde Qhobosheane, president and CEO for Analytik Jena US, explained: “The expansion into the Gulf region will strengthen relationships with our sales representatives, strategic partnerships, and most importantly, our customers. The location of this lab is key to supporting our growing service and support teams, and we are excited for the opportunity to show off our instruments in the lab.”

The lab is opened and accepting outside samples to provide new, optimised workflows and solutions for new and returning customers and partners. The lab was created with the aim to address the needs of central industries in North America from environmental and water analyses to oil, gas, and refining. Additionally, the lab will be open for demonstrations to showcase Analytik Jena’s instruments in the chemical analysis, life science and liquid handling and automation product groups.

Endress+Hauser invested US$38.5 million into the new 112,000sqf Gulf Coast Regional Campus. The company officially broke ground in March 2019, at the site in Pearland’s lower Kirby District, just outside of the Houston area.

The campus offers areas for calibration, repair and training, including portable training unit (PTU). The facility will house teams to support Endress+Hauser’s products, solutions and services, SpectraSensors’ gas analysis systems for and Analytik Jena’s product lines for laboratory instrumentation.
